Can i just say it was an amazing weekend. The guys did an amazing job the bands were great so was the food, it was just an amazing achievement and i feel like we have inspired people to try and do this sort of thing in their areas. I know that my church(Glenwood)is planning stuff. Good luck in the future and God Bless.
On Sunday the team in Cowbridge put on a CAR WASH at the local fire station - they were not sure how many would turn up, turned out that the cars were non stop! They washed cars for a solid 2 hours and talked to the owners at the same time!
On Monday in Grangetown the team carried out a Funday in Grange Gardens - around 200 people turned up, the park was packed! One kid ran up to her mum and said ' Mum! Mum! I cant believe it it's all for free! - even the bouncy castle!' 2 of the girls in the team invited a girl they met during Monday, she agreed to come along to Sophia Gardens, and that night came to know Jesus!
On Sunday in Thomastown they were preparing for a BBQ - as they were about to start they were not many people about! The team didnt settle for this so they went out and told the local area! Turns out, in the end about 40 people came to the BBQ, which is awesome!
