The Vision 

IgniteHope 2012 is about transformation.  

We want to see the lives of individuals and communities impacted and changed because they have had an encounter with our Living God. We want to see God’s Kingdom come as the hearts of people from our streets and estates respond to the good news of Jesus and the love of God. We believe radical spiritual transformation on our home turf is possible through our massive God – and what’s mind blowing is that He wants to use us! 

SO, get stuck into the revolution!!! 

Yes, we think you guys are going to lead a revolution – raising up a generation of young people who are sold out for the gospel and ready to step out into South Wales to see a difference made in the lives of individuals, streets and communities.

Why do we do this? Because we unashamedly want to see Souls saved, Hope found, Love given, Truth uncovered, Invitations accepted for eternity, The Spiritual Landscape of South Wales changed!

  

The Mission

The mission is to use social action, acts of kindness, sport, community events, gospel talks and all the opportunities these give as a massive arrow that points to our amazing God. We want to take the love and message of Jesus to local people and communities by creating projects in 35+ areas. We believe that IgniteHope 2012 is a fantastic opportunity to unite together as churches and youth groups to impact South Wales! But, it’s not just about this fantastic weekend! It’s about us making mission part of our lifestyle, so that wherever we are, whatever we are doing we are equipped and ready to be ambassadors for Christ.

6 ways to get stuck in: 

1. SIGN UP!
2. Invite the IgniteHope team to your youth group (email Hanah.PD@igniteme.org)
3. Come along to an IgniteHope 2012 Open Mic Night (These are going to be amazing! The dates will be advertised online and by email)
4. Become an IgniteHope advocate (Be the connection point between ignite and your church - email cerys.gemma@igniteme.org if you’re up for it!)
5. Create a project in your local area (Why don’t you pray walk round your local area, or ask local people what your youth group could do to make a difference? If you need any assistance phone us on 029 2051 2247 or email ruth.probert@igniteme.org)
6. Watch out for training and equipping opportunities! (These will be on our website and on our emails!)

IgniteHope 2012: 4th - 7th of May

We will meet together in a marquee village in Sophia Gardens to have teaching, worship, celebration and a whole load of fun! There will be bouncy castles, cafes, a prayer tent and much, much more!!
